Developers attending Microsoft’s Build conference later this year now have a new way of putting their skills to the test. Indeed, Microsoft has just announced the Search and Rescue Challenge, which is tasking developers with the job of leveraging the power of AI into Microsoft’s search and rescue drones (via MSPoweruser.)
Microsoft promises that the challenge should take coding to the “new heights” and says that it will “be an exercise in problem-solving, cunning strategy and daring application of your potentially life-saving techniques.” The challenge is open to anyone at Build, and more information is available here. You also can check out the video below for more on what to expect.
Microsoft will soon provide a mission guide with more information how to get started with coding real AI running on Drones. The company also promises that developers will have access to people and resources that can help them optimize their models come Build 2018.
