Microsoft introduces Cortana Show Me app to help you navigate Windows 10 settings

Microsoft is rolling out a new Redstone 4 build (17128) to Fast Ring Insiders today, and the Windows Insider team used this opportunity to unveil a new Cortana-powered app to help you navigate Windows 10 Settings. The new app is called Cortana Show Me, and it’s only available in English (US and UK) and German for now.

“In our preview app, Cortana will show you how to change settings step-by-step,” the Windows Insider team explained. This first version will include 15 guides for changing different type of settings or checking basics like your current version Windows. “While we know this experience isn’t specifically designed for Insiders, it’s for all the friends and family we have who need a pointer – please share it with them,” the team said.

The app will respond to voice commands such as “Cortana, show me how change screen resolution,” but you can also launch guides right from the homepage. The app is currently rolling out worldwide, so if you can’t download it yet you may have to check back later
