Fitbit Coach on Xbox One and Windows 10

The recently launched Fitbit Coach app updated today across all of its supported devices which includes Microsoft’s Xbox One family of consoles, Windows 10 PCs and tablets, Windows 10 Mobile smartphones, Surface Hub, and HoloLens headsets.

This update makes the app much more stable and smoother to navigate, especially on Xbox One consoles, with less jittering and content loading as was often the case before. The Workouts panel has also been revamped slightly to utilize a category menu on the left-hand side as opposed to the continuous scrolling of the previous app version.

A bug that was preventing premium users from switching radio stations during a workout on the Xbox One has also been squashed.

Fitbit Coach is a streaming workout video service that evolves as it collects more user data after each workout. If a user finds an exercise too easy, then harder activities are added. Likewise, if a user tells the app that a workout is too hard, easier ones are automatically added to the next program. It makes for a surprisingly effective workout option that adapts to the user’s needs quite quickly.
