Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17107 slipped in under the radar for most as most tester prepared for the weekend, but, just like getting a new package delivered, many will want to unwrap, download and install the new release immediately.

As this preview drops right before the weekend, Insiders are given a few cautions about some known issues, that most likely won’t be addressed by the Windows team this weekend or before the next release.

Known issues

• Buttons on the Game bar are not centered correctly.
• Selecting a notification after taking a screenshot or game clip opens the Xbox app’s home screen instead of opening the screenshot or game clip.
• Post-install at the first user-prompted reboot or shutdown, a small number of devices have experienced a scenario wherein the OS fails to load properly and may enter a reboot loop state. For affected PCs, turning off fast boot may bypass the issue. If not, it is necessary to create a bootable ISO on a USB drive, boot into recovery mode, and this will allow bypass.
• Tearing a PDF tab in Microsoft Edge will result in a bug check (GSOD).

Fortunately, the list isn’t daunting and much of it can be avoided by simply arming oneself with a $7 flash drive with a free downloaded copy of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
