Eleven Xbox games are reportedly on the chopping block and will no longer be apart of the Xbox Game Pass library. As noted by Stevivor, Reddit user Aliensvslemon posted the eleven Xbox One and Xbox 360 games that are leaving Xbox Game Pass on March 1, 2018 (see Aliensvslemon’s screenshot below).
The Xbox Games Pass lets you download and play Xbox One and Xbox 360 game titles for free for $9.99 a month. The subscription cost is on top of the Xbox Live Gold monthly subscription cost at the same price. I prefer the free Xbox Live Games with Gold and Deals with Gold over the monthly Xbox Game Pass paid subscription.
Personally, paying for the Xbox Game Pass program and Xbox Live Gold is quite a monthly cost. However, Microsoft recently announced that all future Microsoft Studio games releases would be added to Xbox Game Pass, including the new Sea of Thieves.
If Microsoft decides to buy Electronic Arts (EA), that would be a huge addition to their Xbox Game Pass program library and certainly attract more people like myself who are on the fence about signing up. Although, it would be even better if Microsoft combined the cost of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass to make membership more enticing to Xbox gamers.
