Just last week Windows Insiders got an early taste of the December OneNote update on Windows 10. Now that the OneNote team had time to examine and act on the feedback of Windows Insiders, this very update is now live for all Windows 10 Users (via Neowin.)
Windows 10 users should now get pushed to version 17.8827.2012 of OneNote, complete with the digital ruler and improved search functionality. As usual, though, the update and some of the features are rolling out over time, so not everyone might be seeing it right away.
With this update OneNote users can experience a virtual ruler in notebooks, allowing for the drawing of straight lines and the measuring of distance or specific angle. There also is a speedy search experience, which Microsoft says will make “make it easier to get back into notes.”
You can grab this update by heading now to the Microsoft Store on your Windows 10 PC. Or, you can visit the link below to install the app or trigger the update manually.
