Facebook Messenger got a new update recently, revamping the Windows 10 app with some UI changes, as well as performance updates and bug fixes. The Facebook Messenger UI change was discovered by Aggiornamenti Lumia, who noted that Facebook Messenger added a number of new features and app functionality.
The update brings Facebook Messenger to version 139.1213.34847.0. Here are the list of changes and fixes:
- Improved search bar (now the text is aligned in the Center)
- The home is now divided in “messages” and “Active”. In this new section you will find your friends on Messenger
- The emoticons are now displayed at the bottom (removed the old pop-up menu in the chat)
- Renewed “location” feature: you can now view the map in full screen
- Photos, videos and emoji is now called “photos and media”: Removed this section all options emoji
- Miscellaneous improvements and fixes
This update comes after over about a month of testing the Facebook Messenger beta app.
