Windows Insiders have been waiting over a week now for a new build with the much anticipated Windows Timeline and Sets feature, but it’s looking as though there will be a longer wait time ahead. Dona Sarkar just revealed no new builds will be coming on Wednesday or Thursday after all, and the team is aiming for a Friday release instead.
#WindowsInsiders: no builds Wed or Thurs. We’re still aiming for Friday with our next build candidate!

This is not the first delay that has faced Windows Insiders. As you may recall, last week the release of a build was pushed back due to a bug with UWP apps. Anyway, it’s still nice to know that Dona Sarkar is keeping the community updated, as usually this wait time equates to quality.
The last Redstone 4 build came over two weeks ago on the day before Thanksgiving. For now, though, Windows Insiders may pass the time between new builds by checking out the Redesigned Cortana Notebook, or complete an Hour of Code tutorial, and even check out Brandon LeBlanc’s new tool to track build flights.
