EtherWallet for Windows 10 has received a rather significant update on Windows 10 Mobile smartphones and Windows 10 PCs that has completely revamped its visual design… and also deleted users’ Ethereum wallets giving them no way to access their funds from within the app. EtherWallet does show an option to restore wallets from their backups but these links are unclickable at the moment.
The new design also sees a heavier focus on Ether prices with numerous new charts and graphs added but these unfortunately are causing a lot of freezing and crashes when run on a Windows phone. It’s just too much data being requested all at once.
The app has seen several updates over the last 24 hours which are likely being done to fix the crashing and loading errors and the removal of the wallets but none of them appear to have improved the situation as of the time of writing.
