Siri, Cortana, or Alexa, all wonderful digital assistants which can be used to help you manage your day. Sometimes, though, these assistants can be fun to play around with, especially when you’re bored. Well, if you happen to ask Cortana about Alexa, things can get pretty funny.

Seen above, when asked about Alexa, Microsoft’s Cortana will reply “I don’t know Alexa, but I’ve heard of Alexa. If you have Alexa, I may have just triggered Alexa. If so, sorry Alexa.” This is a very funny response and is an obvious pun on the way which the Amazon assistant is woken up and prompted (beginning with the words “Alexa.”)
Cortana can do other tech jokes too, When prompted about knowing Satya Nadella, Cortana replies “not personally, but I love when he wears a t-shirt with my picture on it.” Then, when asked about Siri, Cortana will joke “I know her, but I don’t KNOW her know her.”
It’s nice to know that Microsoft has taught Cortana some jokes. And, at least Cortana keeps things clean and didn’t trick Alexa into ordering body parts, or copies of Halo 5 and a brand new Xbox One S.
