Last week, Microsoft released the cumulative update KB4022716 for Windows 10 users on the Production, Release Preview and Slow Rings, which bumped the Windows 10 Creators Update to build 15063.477. If you have a yet to install it, we remind you that this was a non-security update with a lengthy list of quality improvements for your Windows 10 PC.
On this same occasion, Head of the Windows Insider Program Dona Sarkar announced that this update would be delivered gradually to Slow Ring Insiders. As she explained, this is meant to test a new update targeting framework that simulates what happens when Microsoft rolls out a new major version of Windows 10 to all users.
Yesterday, Sarkar’s initial blog post was quietly updated to mention the release of the new cumulative update KB4034450 for Slow Ring Insiders (via MSPoweruser). There is no detailed changelog for the new update, but Microsoft says that it only brings “a single fix for an issue causing some laptops to boot to a black screen.”
As usual, you can download this new update by checking Windows Update in your PC Settings, let us know in the comments if you’re having any issues after completing the process.
