At the Future Decoded event in Mumbai, India, Microsoft has shared that the company’s cloud and mobile technologies are driving digital transformation across large, medium, and small enterprises and across government departments in India.
During his keynote, Satya Nadella shared that State Bank of India, India’s largest bank, is now adopting Office 365 to drive communication and collaboration among its employees. The public-sector bank has over 200,000 employees.
He also announced that the state of Andhra Pradesh has now adopted Microsoft Cloud for better governance and improved citizen experience.
“At Microsoft, we aim to empower every Indian and every Indian organization to achieve more. With the transformative power of the cloud, we are enabling Indian start-ups, businesses of all sizes, and government agencies to build new digital capability, find new growth and seize the opportunities ahead.”
– Satya Nadella, CEO, Microsoft
These customer wins follow the cloud partnership Microsoft announced with Flipkart, India’s leading online retailer, earlier this week. State Bank of India, Flipkart, Tata Motors, and government departments across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu are some of the new partnerships announced by Microsoft to enable digital transformation.
