Three additional games head to the Xbox One via Backward Compatibility

Xbox’s Major Nelson announced today that three new Xbox 360 games have been added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list: the hack and slash game Darksiders, its sequel Darksiders II and the action-adventure title Assassin’s Creed Revelations. The announcement was made after the Xbox team revealed that both Darksiders and Assassin’s Creed Revelations would be included in April’s Games with Gold titles.

It’s worth noting that all three games have already been remastered for the Xbox One over the past two years: Assassin’s Creed: Revelations was included in last year’s Ezio Collection bundle, while Darksiders: Warmastered Edition and Darksiders II The Deathinitive Edition were released in 2016 and 2015, respectively. However, it’s nice to be able to play the Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One if you previously bought them, right?

Earlier this week, we told you that there are now more than 350 backward compatible games on the Xbox One, and we see new games being added every week. Let us know in the comments what are the games you would like to see on the list in the future.
