Access your Google Drive storage with this unofficial free app for Windows Phone 8

For those of you who made the switch from Android to Windows Phone or for those who still use Google’s Drive storage, this companion app – albeit unofficial – is a great way to manage and browse through your files and media.

“Google Drive on WP allows you to access and download your Google Drive files on your Windows Phone device. It provides different views to your online storage such as ‘My Drive’, ‘Shared with me’, ‘Starred’ or ‘Recent’. While also supporting folders, you can easily locate your files on your Windows Phone device. Every time you access a file on Google Drive it will be cached on your Phone. A subsequent request does not require an internet connection anymore. Of course you are able to delete specific or all cached files on your Windows Phone device,” the app description reads.

The app was just recently bumped to version 0.9.8.8 and comes with a plethora of features, such as the ability to download and view your Google Drive files as PDF, in Office or in the browser. You can even manage multiple Drive accounts within the app.

Hit the download link below to snag the free app, if you are a Google Drive user. Let us know if you like the app!
