For those of you who use the unofficial Snapchat app, 6snap, there is a new update in the Windows Phone Store. In this update, we are treated to several new features, including support for the Nokia Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1520 smartphones.
Rudy Huyn, the developer behind 6tag and 6sec, not too long ago released a new app for Windows Phone 8 called 6snap. This app is the first full featured Snapchat app for Windows Phone 8 and today another update to the app has been rolled out. In this update, which bumps the version number to 1.4.0.0, we are treated to the following new features:
- Filter unread snaps.
- Increase upload speed.
- Change snap counter behavior (only count unstarted snaps).
- No need to wait the end of the countdown to reply.
- Be able to reply to a ‘not friend’ user.
- Improve picture quality for lumia 1520 and 1020.
- Improve image cropping when no text is added.
- Add right-to-left scripts support and Arabian language.
