Lumia 730

Lumia 730, codenamed Superman, has seen its fair share of rumors in the past few days. We’ve already seen some images of the purported Lumia 730 running the Debian Red update and earlier today, some more images of the Lumia 730 popped up in all its glory which confirms there will be two versions of the device — one will feature 4G connectivity while the second one will be a dual-SIM variant.

The images also gives us a glimpse of the design the upcoming Lumia 730/735 will follow, and resembles the Lumia 800/900 series quite a bit — definitely a good sign for Windows Phone fans across the globe. The device is said to be Microsoft’s selfie phone, featuring a high quality 5MP camera on the front.

The handset is expected to be a mid-range offering from the Redmond-based company, and should feature a 4.7-inch HD display with a quad-core Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM under the hood. Other rumored features include 8GB of storage with a microSD card slot, a 6.7MP rear camera with flash for photos and videos, and Windows Phone 8.1 Debian Red update as its operating system. The alleged device comes with volume rocker and power button on one side, but there’s no dedicated camera button — if the images are to be believed.

The purported Lumia 730 is said to see the light of the day next week at the IFA 2014 conference, alongside the Lumia 830. Stay tuned, we’ll update you as soon as Microsoft officially announces the handsets.

Which one are you waiting for? Lumia 730 or the 830? Do you think we may get two versions of the Lumia 830 as well?
