Lumia 730

Microsoft has scheduled an event on September 4th where the company is rumored to launch a camera-centric smartphone, or maybe two. In the past few days, several Microsoft devices, including the Lumia 730 and 830, have popped up on the internet, revealing what the devices could offer when they will hit retail. Recently, an alleged Lumia device with a model number RM-1038, believed to be the Lumia 730.

Although the listing doesn’t reveal any specifications of the device, it does shed some light on the dimensions of the purported handset. As per the FCC listing, the RM-1038 measures 134.7 x 68.5mm.

If it’s really the Lumia 730, we may get to see a 4.7-inch display sporting a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, or at max a 720p display. Under the hood, the alleged handset is expected to come with a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage with a microSD card support, 5MP front-facing camera, a 6.1MP rear camera for photos and videos, dual-SIM support and should come with a Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 as its operating system out of the box.

There’s no confirmation if it’s really the Lumia 730 or any other device. But, most clues point it to be the Lumia 730. The event is just a few weeks away, and we’ll find out what Microsoft has in store for its fans.
