Microsoft has announced the release of the latest Windows 11 Build, numbered 22621.2500 (KB5031455), for its Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Channel on Windows 11, version 22H2.

The update brings several new features and improvements aimed at enhancing user experience and addressing various issues.

New Features and Improvements:

  1. Search Highlight Gleam Update: A new feature affects the search highlight gleam in the search box. Upon selection, users will be directed to a Bing.com page for the daily search highlight. Initially available to a limited audience, this feature is expected to be rolled out more broadly in the coming months.
  2. Geopolitical Changes: The update reflects the English name change of the former Republic of Turkey, now officially recognized as the Republic of Türkiye. Furthermore, it supports Croatia’s transition from the Kuna to the Euro as its official currency.
  3. Daylight Saving Time Support: Windows 11 Build 22621.2500 (KB5031455) includes support for daylight saving time changes in Syria, providing users with the necessary adjustments for a seamless experience.
  4. Bug Fixes and Enhancements: The update addresses various issues affecting fontdrvhost.exe, ctfmon.exe, TextInputHost.exe, touchscreens, Dynamic Lighting, the Microsoft Store, cellular settings, Windows Firewall Profile, Universal Print, Outlook, PowerShell, the Taskbar setting, and the functioning of robocopy with the /efsraw switch. These fixes are aimed at enhancing system stability and user interface interactions.

Microsoft has urged users to update their systems to benefit from the latest features and security enhancements.
