Steve Jobs has died at the age of 56

With great sadness, today we must report that Steve Jobs has passed away at the age of 56. It was no long ago that he stepped down from CEO at Apple due to many battles with medical problems. We are all deeply saddened.

Apple has issued a statement saying:

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know an work with Steve Jobs have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company only he could have built, an his spirit will live forever to be he foundation of Apple.

Flags at the Apple HQ have been flying at half mast today. Apple CEO Tim Cook said that “No words could adequately express our sadness at Steve Jobs’ death.”

Our thoughts go out to his family and friends, and we wish them all the very best.
