Facebook Beta gets another update before the new year, fixes issues with News Feed

Facebook Beta gets another update before the end of the year.

Facebook Beta for Windows Phone got another update today. The update helps fix a number of issues with the News Feed. A previous update released an unpopular feature introduced by Facebook, dubbed “Top Stories” News Feed. This latest update tackles a number of issues with the News Feed, as well as other general improvements for Facebook Beta.

The previous update addressed most issues with video upload, messenger support, and other general bug fixes. Here is a list of the current fixes in the latest update:

  • Improvements for detecting when new News Feed stories are available
  • Fixes to address user-created stories not being shown
  • Fixes to address issues with duplicate stories
  • Fixes to address issues with “Recent Activity” stories
  • Fixes to address issues with stories reappearing at the top of the News Feed
  • Fixes to address News Feed stability
