When Microsoft announced the Always Connected Windows 10 PC during Qualcomm’s Tech Summit Keynote, they were short a few OEMs. The company detailed there would be options from ASUS and HP, but mentioned they would be working with Lenovo to bring an Always Connected PC to the market. Well, the time has finally arrived, and ahead of CES 2018 today, Lenovo announced the Miix 630, their first Always Connected Windows 10 PC.
Lenovo Miix 630: ($799, Available starting April/March/Q2 2018)
Lenovo’s Miix 630 is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile 835 Mobile PC processor and comes with 4G connectivity and 20 hours of battery life. The device is always on, and always connected, and comes with Windows Hello, and a thin and light fanless design. Of course, since it is a 2-in-1 the backlit keyboard is also detachable, and you can use the Lenovo Digital Pen (with 1,024 levels of sensitivity) to ink directly on the screen. The device ships with Windows 10 S for consistent performance and security, but it can be upgraded to Windows 10 Pro for free. Specs are below:

The Miix 620 joins other Windows 10 PCs which Lenovo announced at CES 2018. The company upgraded their mainstream ThinkPad X, T, and L series lineup, and also introduced newly refreshed ThinkPad X1 models complete with 3K display, and Dolby Vision HDR. Definitely some exciting stuff, and we’re looking forward to getting hands-on with and reviewing the devices in 2018.
