Axis Bank launches mobile app for Windows Phone

India continues showering its love for Windows Phone. Today, the third largest bank in the country, Axis Bank, has released its Windows Phone client. It’s called Axis Mobile app, and it gives its customers access to all of their account information, including every billing summary.

But that’s not all. The full-fledged Axis Mobile app also lets you transfer funds, as well as schedule payments round the clock. “The New Axis Mobile App by Axis Bank! Banking with Axis Bank is now just a touch away with the New Axis Mobile – a simple, user-friendly, convenient and secure mobile banking application from Axis Bank” the app description reads.

The app also offers several features that will make your life convenient, like the ability to recharge your mobile plans, data cards, and several DTH packs. The app allows you save to 10 frequent transactions as Favorites, which will enable 1 click transactions in future. You can also personalize your account, menu options, navigation style and beneficiary list by adding an image to them.

Using the app you will also be able to locate the nearest Axis Bank branch and ATMs (via GPS). If you are an Axis bank account holder and rock a Windows Phone, there is no reason why you shouldn’t download the app right away!
