\

Swarm, the social sharing app from Foursquare, has gained an update on Windows Phone. Among the new additions and features is the ability for users to message one another using the emoji keyboard.

\

Using an emoji keyboard, even mere illiteracy is no longer an obstacle to effective written communication. This will no doubt make the act of checking in on Foursquare a great deal more entertaining for a certain subset of users.

\

Asides from this, Foursquare have improved the previously slow sticker load times, added the ability to remove pending friend requests and to view all of your active leaderboard activity. This is in addition to the various performance tweaks and bug fixes that come with most updates, intended to improve the user experience incrementally. This new update will no doubt improve the experience for users considerably.

Do you use Swarm? Are you happy to see these changes? Let us know in the comments below.
