Lumia 630/635

We recently saw our first screenshot of the upcoming Lumia Moneypenny device which revealed dual-SIM capabilities. Today, more details regarding the Lumia 630 and 635 were revealed. The upcoming Moneypenny devices may not have the Nokia branding afterall, could they be called the Microsoft Lumia 630/5 or just the Lumia?

The Lumia 630 is set to be a Dual SIM 3G device, whilst the Lumia 635 is set to be a Single SIM 4G LTE device. We’ve also had screenshots of both devices leak over the last few weeks, which reveal virtual buttons at the bottom of the screen. It’s possible that the Lumia 630 and 630 are Nokia’s (or Microsoft’s) first Windows Phone devices without hardware buttons.

We recently learned that Windows Phone 8.1 is set to remove the requirement of hardware buttons to lower costs of handsets. The Lumia 630 and 635 look to be rather cheap handsets it seems, and will probably be aimed at a more international market.

What are your thoughts on Lumia dropping the Nokia branding for the 630 and 635? Do you think it will happen? Are you for or against this move? Leave your thoughts below!
