Halo: Reach and Halo 3: ODST could see light on Xbox One, one day

Halo 3: ODST

Microsoft and 343 Industries are already working hard on getting Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 out on Xbox One in The Master Chief Collection, but fans always want more it seems. When 343 announced The Master Chief Collection, fans immediately began asking about Halo: Reach and Halo 3: ODST, and today Dan Ayoub from 343 Industries has spoken about that.

According to Ayoub, the team at 343 know fans want it, and whilst it’s not on any development plans right now, they definitely aren’t dismissing it as something that could happen in the future:

What I can tell you is probably the biggest question we get from people is, what about ODST and Reach?  What I can say is it’s certainly not in our development timeline or planning right now [but] we’ve heard that question so much that it has seeped into our collective subconscious. I think enough people have asked about it that we are thinking about it.

Halo fans will be delighted to hear this news, considering Halo’s 1 through 4 are coming to Xbox One, it would be nice to have the whole family join the main stars on stage in the next-gen world right? As a Halo fan, I absolutely loved Halo 3: ODST and I’d pay extra money to play it on Xbox One.
