Xbox One gets MTV app, updates Twitch app with several new features

Xbox One team has just announced the addition of ReddX, a third-party Reddit client for the gaming console. Besides ReddX, the popular cable and satellite television channel MTV is also joining Xbox One. In addition, Twitch is getting several new features as well.

MTV has now arrived on the Xbox One in the United States. The app will provide users with sneak peeks, as well as recent full episodes from select MTV series with a TV subscription. Alongside that, Xbox One users will also be bestowed with some bonus clips.

The app will also keep you updated with news from pop culture and fashion spaces. Users will also be able to access the behind-the-scenes of blockbuster movies.

At the sidelines of these new app inclusions, Twitch, a popular leading video platform and community for gamers is adding several news features to its app for Xbox One.

Users will now be able to auto zoom, as well as capture audio from headsets and another feature called “watch with friends”. This feature will allow you to watch the same broadcast that your friends are watching. Users will get to pick from up to six friends. Another new feature allows Kinect to follow and zoom to your face while broadcasting. This will also allow audio to be captured, in the absence of Kinect.
