After giving fans a tease the last two months, the Forza team has finally released the frozen wonders of the Blizzard Mountain Expansion for Forza Horizon 3. The expansion pack is available today as a standalone $19.99 purchase from the Xbox and Windows Store, or as part of the Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass.
According to the Forza team, this expansion pack brings players to the snowy elevations in a brand new playable area of Australia, and also delivers a new roster of cars and trucks, each which have been picked for maximum fun in the snow and changing weather conditions. Additionally, for those with the HDR capable Xbox One S, the pack also brings some visual treats, such as the incredible detail in the covered terrain of the Blizzard Mountains, the authentic sights of sunlight bouncing off the snow and the ice, and frozen lakes glistening under the mountain’s all-new Australian winter skies.
The new cars in the pack include the following:
- 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX
- 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Group B
- 1975 Lancia Stratos HF Group 4
- 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept
- 1966 Ford F-100 Flareside Abatti Racing Trophy Truck
- 2016 RJ Anderson #37 RZR-Rockstar Energry Pro 2 Truck
- 2016 Subaru #199 WRX STI VT15r Rally Car
- brand-new barn find car, hidden somewhere in the snowy reaches of Blizzard Mountain.
