Acer Spin 7, the world’s thinnest convertible notebook, launches in India

In a press release, Acer has announced the launch of Spin 7 in India. Touted as the world’s thinnest convertible notebook, the Acer Spin 7 sports an innovative 360° hinge which allows spinning the notebook as a tablet, a laptop, or anything in between.

The Spin 7 boasts of a 14-inch Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and is powered by all new 7th generation Intel Core processors with 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256 GB SSD storage. Acer Spin 7 focusses on aesthetics sporting a matte black chassis with polished silver edges and diamond-cut edges around the touchpad. With a fanless design, at just 10.98 mm thickness and weighing only 1.2kgs, the Spin 7 is arguably the thinnest and lightest notebook in its class.

The new flagship Acer Spin 7 is part of the company’s existing series of premium slim line notebooks and is aimed at customers looking for top of the line performance in stylish chassis. Priced at ₹109,000 ($1600), the Acer Spin 7 is available across key retail stores in India.
