Microsoft recently announced the Surface Book 2, which means now is the perfect time to save on previous generation Surface Book devices. Indeed, you can now save $500 on the Surface Book with Performance Base, and $400 on the standard Surface Book at the Microsoft Store today.
The sale brings the price on the standard 128GB Intel Core i5 Surface Book with 8GB of RAM down from $1,499 to $1,199. Similarly, the cost of the 265GB Intel Core i7 Surface Book with Performance Base with 8GB of RAM goes down from $2,399 to $1,899.
These are some significant price cuts, especially for those who are looking to purchase a Surface device for the first time. As a reminder, those who would like the newer generation Surface Book 2, in 13.5″ and 15″ versions, should be aware that the devices are available for pre-order starting November 9th, and will ship out starting November 16th.
