Nokia Lumia 2520

We’ve heard rumors of a Nokia Windows RT tablet for a while now and this tablet, codename Sirius, features a quad-core chip and a 10.1 inch screen. Now, according to a new rumor, this tablet will be called the “Lumia 2520.”

It appears that Nokia will be using the Lumia brand name in the upcoming 10.1-inch Windows RT tablet, at least according to @Evleaks who has been very reliable in the past. Microsoft recently acquired Nokia’s devices and services unit, which means Microsoft now owns the Lumia brand. It will be interesting to see if this Windows RT tablet retains the “Lumia 2520” name or if it will be announced under another name.

Nokia is holding an event on October 22nd where the company is rumored to be announcing the Nokia Lumia 1520. The Windows RT tablet, Lumia 2520, which features a 10.1-inch 1080p (1920×1080) IPS display, a batter life of up to 10 hours, 1.3lbs in weight and .35 inches in thickness. The device will also feature a 2.15 GHZ quad core Qualcomm 8974 chipset. The tablet is rumored to be priced at $499.
