Anyone who has been using the Nokia Lumia 2520 will have noticed that there is something missing. We’re not talking about lacking a fully-fledged version of Windows 8 (this tablet is packing Windows 8 RT), but the absence of a keyboard. This problem has now been addressed with the hotly anticipated Power Keyboard for the device.

This is more than just an alternative to using the on-screen keyboard that is built into Windows 8. As the name suggests, this is also a source of additional power, and there’s also an integrated stand as well as a couple of USB ports.

The full-sized keyboard will set you back $149.99 and is available from both AT&T and Verizon. Just like the keyboards for Surface devices, the Power Keyboard also serves as a protective cover, but it is the keyboard and trackpad that will be of greatest interest.

The integrated battery can boost the tablet’s life by up to five hours, while the USB ports add valuable connectivity to the tablet that is otherwise devoid of full-sized USB ports.
