Microsoft’s OneDrive cloud storage service is getting a new feature that should make it easier to find and access important files and folders. Next month, OneDrive for Business will add a new Quick access menu that will bring support for pinning shared libraries in a sidebar.
“Improved ways to manage the list of places you’ve recently accessed or opened a file from. You can pin these places so you can easily and predictably get back to what you’ve been working on,” the company explained on the Microsoft 365 roadmap.
Microsoft is also introducing a new feature that will enable users to organize Add to OneDrive shortcuts in their own private folders. This feature is currently under development, and it’s coming to OneDrive for Business customers in December 2021, according to the Microsoft 365 roadmap.
In addition to these enhancements, the Redmond giant is planning to improve the sharing experience in OneDrive for Business. Earlier this month, the cloud storage service has also received new photo editing features on both Android and the web.
