Nokia Lumia 735 spotted on Ireland carriers' websites for $240, launch imminent

The Nokia Lumia 735, which was previously gearing up for its arrival in the United States on Sprint and Verizon networks, has now been spotted on two of the Ireland carriers’ websites, suggesting that its launch in the country is imminent.

For a refresh, the Lumia 735 sports a 4.7-inch display with 720p screen resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of expandable internal storage. Other features of the 4G LTE capable handset include 6.7-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front facing camera, and 2,200 mAh battery.

Last year, from the FCC listings, the handset was expected to come in the United States on Sprint and Verizon carriers. However, later, the Redmond-based company removed it from its US Store listing, hinting that the handset might not get launched in the country after all.

In Ireland, the two carriers who have listed the said handset on their websites are eMobile and Meteor. The listing also reveals that the phone will only be available in a black color option in the country, and will cost around $240. Neither of the carriers have revealed a launch date.
