If you rock a Nokia Lumia 630 handset, now is a good time to check for an update on your phone. Microsoft has rolled out an update, dubbed “8.10.12397.895” to the device.
\
The update doesn’t offer a changelog, but a reliable tipster tells us that it brings camera improvements that enables continuous autofocus. In addition, Skype is now very well placed in the phone dialer.
\
If you’re thinking of getting an affordable smartphone, Nokia Lumia 630 is a pretty decent device. It sports a 4.5-inch display with a 480 x 854 screen resolution. Powered by Snapdragon 400 processor, it packs 512MB of RAM, and it’s one of the few devices that run Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box.
\
The phone was recently launched in India and it has been very well received. In addition to running on the latest software version, it also sports dual-SIM capability, a feature which is a crucial selling factor in the country. Microsoft has spent money on promoting Nokia Lumia 630 on TV and in newspapers.
\
To check for the update on your phone, go to Settings > Phone update, and hit ‘Check for updates’.
