Nokia announces Lumia Icon Challenge, make short videos and win 0,000

Nokia is on a hunt for the next breakthrough filmmaking team in its new Lumia Icon challenge. If you’re a video producer, director, or an avid hobbyist, tell Nokia why your work is great by submitting your “original work” and you along with four other teams stand a chance to win a $10,000 production budget. Not only that, you can also win three Nokia Lumia Icon smartphones.

The selected teams will each receive $10,000, along with filmmaking kits, and will be provided three weeks of time to produce a video using a Nokia Lumia Icon. The submission should be made on the Rippld website (see VIA link below), where your work will be evaluated by the community. The best ones will be featured on Nokia.com and Thrillist.com.

You might want to hurry a bit, as the submission closes this Sunday (April 27th). Nokia says that it will check your Rippld portfolio and about section, so make sure your profile is attractive. More points are given if you share your submission on social networking websites using the hashtag “#LumiaIconChallenge”. Hit the Via link below to post your entry.
