Will Windows Insiders get a new Windows 10 preview build this week? Things look pretty good today, as Dona Sarkar just tweeted that the Windows Insider team may be ready to push the big red button tomorrow, assuming all testing goes well. If not tomorrow, a new release later in the week would still be great, if you ask us.
#WindowsInsiders: our build candidate for the week is still looking good. We need to selfhost today & will try for a release on Wednesday.

Last week, Microsoft released the Windows 10 preview build 16251 for PC, which brought an interesting “Link your phone” feature for iOS and Android users. On Mobile, the preview build 15235 brought a new portrait mode for Continuum as well as the usual bug fixes and improvements.
More importantly, the company also announced that Fast Ring Insiders can now opt in to to receive pre-release (Redstone 4) builds as well as app updates for Windows 10 stock apps. For now, Insiders who chose to “skip ahead” received the same preview build 16251 than rolled out to “normal” Fast Ring Insiders, but that could very well change in the near future. Hopefully, we’ll know more about Microsoft’s plans later this week.
