Microsoft shows off the Nokia Lumia Icon's 1080p video capability in new advertisement

The Nokia Lumia Icon (read our review here) has been available on Verizon for quite some time now and is the flagship Windows Phone device on the carrier. In a new video uploaded to YouTube by Microsoft today, the company is showcasing a heart stopping racing video shot entirely by the Icon.

Boasting a 20MP camera, 1080p video recording, and 4 HAAC high performance microphones, the video is an impressive demonstration of what the Lumia Icon can do. Head over here to see the Lumia Icon, formerly known as the Lumia 929, compared against other Lumia devices from the 900 range.

You can currently snag the Lumia Icon for $99 with a two year agreement on Verizon. The device features a 20MP PureView Rear-Facing Camera and Camcorder with ZEISS Optics, Auto Focus, Optical Image stabilization (OIS), Back Side Illumination (BSI), Dual LED Flash, and FullHD 1080p video recording.
