The Lumia 535, the first Lumia handset with Microsoft branding, was launched in India today. As if the phone’s price ($150) wasn’t good enough, Microsoft had too many other offers up its sleeves to entice the deal even further. The company announced several data plans, movie, and TV shows subscriptions for the Lumia 535 smartphone, and OneDrive and Office 365 plans for the entire Lumia smartphone family.

The company announced that it is offering all Lumia handsets running Windows Phone 8 or above an option to upgrade to 1TB of storage on OneDrive for Rs 799 ($13) per annum. It’s a massive price drop, as 1TB storage on OneDrive typically costs Rs 3,960 ($64). The company also announced Office 365 Home Premium for Rs. 2499 ($40) per annum, another attractive deal as it typically costs Rs 4,199 ($68).

For the Lumia 535, the company had several exclusive launch day offers. It announced that all the Lumia 535 owners will get 500MB of data free for 2 months on Vodafone network. Subscribers are free to switch between 3G, 2G, and EDGE, as per their need. Additionally, the company is also giving users Rs 6,000 worth of discounts while shopping on Jabong, the fashion and lifestyle online store, using the portal’s Windows Phone client. The offer is valid for 3 months.

The company is also offering Rs 600 worth of extra recharge on Paytm (the offer is split over 4 months). One can also buy eBooks worth Rs 1,500 through Flipkart (There’s a dedicated app for that on Windows Phone). Last but not the least, one also gets 2 months BoxTV subscription worth Rs 720 at no charge.
