Microsoft launches Lumia 830 and Lumia 730 in India, offers several exciting deals

As expected, Microsoft launched the Lumia 830, and the Lumia 730 in India today. The “affordable flagship” Lumia 830 has been priced at Rs 28,799 and will go on sale from October 8, while the “selfie smartphone” Lumia 730 is priced at Rs 15,299 and will be available for purchase from October 6.

The Lumia 830 offers the premium camera experience at an affordable price. It comes with a 5-inch display with 720P screen resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory, which could be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone sports a 10-megapixel camera, coupled with a 1-megapixel camera on the front. It carries a 2,200 mAh battery. Lumia 830 will come in Bright Orange, White and Black.

The Lumia 730, on the other hand, sports a 4.7-inch display with 720P screen resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The cell shutterbugs will appreciate the 6.7-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. It packs a 2,220 mAh battery. The phone is dual-SIM capable. Lumia 730 will come in Green, Orange, Dark Grey, and White.

E-commerce site Snapdeal.com is offering goodies worth Rs 8,000 on the phone if the order is made through its Windows Phone app. In addition, the BoxTV is also offering free 60-day subscription to the Lumia 830 customers. Microsoft is also offering 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage available free for first 6 months.
