Latest update for Skype Preview brings several new features for Windows 10 PC and Mobile

If you’re on the Fast ring of Windows Insiders, there’s a neat update to the Skype Preview app available for both Windows 10 PC as well as Mobile.

According to the changelog, the latest update to the Skype Preview app brings support for dragging and dropping any file up to 300MB each in the chat to quickly share it. This has been a much requested feature since sharing files by dragging and dropping is intuitive and seamless, and it’s good to finally have it. This feature is of course available only for Windows 10 PCs.

Like most instant messaging apps now, the Skype Preview app now allows you to preview a webpage before you click it. The Settings allow you to toggle this option.

The update also allows you to adjust your microphone and webcam setup directly in the Skype app. You can also know who said what with quotes in instant messages.

If you’re a Windows Insider on Fast ring, update the Skype Preview app or download from the link below. Give these new features a whirl, and let us know how your experience has been.
