The next Fortnight of Fortnite is all Obi-Wan and Star Wars – onmsft.com

As many had expected, Star Wars has returned to the Fortnite video game for Star Wars Day, May The 4th.

All previously available Star Wars skins, excluding Din Djarin who’s a Battle Pass character, are once again up for grabs within the in-game store. All of the previously released Star Wars gliders, pickaxes, and back blings are also now available.

Surprisingly, Epic Games announced today that the Star Wars celebration would be continuing for two whole week which suggests that some addition Star Wars content and skins are on the way. Darth Vader is a pretty safe bet given the recent leaks and it looks like Obi-Wan Kenobi has been confirmed via a new official teaser that dropped today. Only his arm (see top image) makes an appearance however.

While this Star Wars promotion does run until May 17th, the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series doesn’t premiere until May 27th which means that the Kenobi skin really could go live at any time over the next two weeks. It’s also likely that some Bad Batch content could finally come to Fortnite given that its second season is expected to debut either in late May or early June though no official announcement has been made yet.

In addition to all of the above content, Fortnite players can now see a Star Destroyer in the skies above the island and encounter Original Trilogy era Storm Troopers on the map who can sell them blasters and give them bounties to complete.

A series of Star Wars quests are also now live in the game. Completing enough of them unlocks a free Empire banner.
