Deal alert: AT&T Lumia 635 available for $79.99 off contract through Frys

People living in the United States can now grab the AT&T model of Lumia 635 for as low as $79.99 off-contract, through the consumer electronics retailer Frys. The promotional price beats the retail price of the recently launched Windows Phone Lumia 530. The deal will last until September 3rd.

Announced last month, the Lumia 635 is typically priced at $99.99 off-contract. It sports a 4.5-inch display with 854 x 480 screen resolution. The handset is powered by a Quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and boasts 512MB RAM.

The Lumia 635 comes with 8 gigs of internal storage which could be easily expanded to 128GB via microSD should the owner wish to do that. On the camera front, the Lumia 635 comes with a 5MP shooter which is capable of recording 720P HD resolution, but there is no front facing camera. The 4G LTE data capability is a big plus though.
