While Black Friday is only two days away, tech companies and major retailers once again allowed shoppers to start enjoying their various deals a little earlier than the end of the week. Indeed, if you followed our previous Black Friday coverage on OnMSFT, you may be aware that some discounts on the Microsoft Store have been available since November 20 while Xbox’s Black Friday Sale has been opened to Xbox Live Gold subscribers since November 18.
But today, Microsoft announced another row of Black Friday deals that will be available through November 29 on the Windows Store. As you can expect, this is all about digital content including Xbox Play Anywhere games, apps, music, and movies. And if you already enjoyed previous deals on Xbox One S consoles or Surface hybrid tablets, these aadditionalWindows Store deals may be just what you need to put your new hardware to good use.
Games deals
As Xbox’s Major Nelson teased it last week, Xbox Play Anywhere titles Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3 are now discounted on the Windows Store and these are one of the best games you can play on your Xbox One or Windows 10 PC right now. And as we reported this morning, The Chapter 1 of Batman: The Telltale Series is now free for PC users (it’s now a $0.75 purchase on the Xbox after being free for a couple of days).

Music Deals
A few months ago, Microsoft offered four months of Groove Music Pass for the price of one but this time the company is doing better: starting today through November 29, eligible users can now sign up for a 30-day free trial and get 3 additional month for free. If you never tried the premium music subscription service, now is the perfect time to do (gamer tip: the Groove Music app on the Xbox One can play music in the background, and your playlists are also directly integrated into Forza Horizon 3). Additionally, pop music fans in the US, UK and Canada can also purchase Justin Bieber’s Purpose, and The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness albums for just $.99 each.
Movie Deals
Starting November 25, users in the US, UK and Canada will able to purchase The Martian and Deadpool “at their lowest price ever,” though Microsoft didn’t share pricing details. Additionally, the company noted that only a limited pool of customers will be able to enjoy the discounts on both movies.
Apps Deals
Starting today through November 28, Microsoft is discounting the photo editing app Polar Photo Editor Pro ($1.99) as well as a premium media player app called Media Player Gold ($2.99), and you can get them from the download links below. Lastly, yo can also enjoy 14-day free trial of Sling TV and you can get started right now by downloading the Windows 10 app below.
