The Azure Marketplace is a great resource that provides a way for all sorts of developers to get their hands on the latest and greatest independent software offerings to help them work on their projects. As valuable as the resource is, however, its interface left a whole lot to be desired. It was frequently criticized as something that was pretty clunky and difficult to maneuver.
In response to that criticism, the team at Microsoft made a whole new interface for users to navigate – one that not only makes the process of finding and deploying software easier but keeps the experience much more consistent. With the implementation of the new user experience in Azure Marketplace, it should be infinitely more user-friendly and helpful.
You can check out all of the details regarding the new user interface on Microsoft’s blog post, including some decent tutorials about the new category system, information about test driving applications, and a look at how to perform deep dives before purchasing software.
