Microsoft has announced that they’re releasing Azure Analysis Services in North Central US and Brazil South, raising the limited number of supported regions up to 9.
According to Josh Caplan, a Senior Program Manager, Azure Analysis is a preview service where you can host semantic data. The feature works by “connecting data models using tools like Excel, Power BI, and many others to create reports and perform ad-hoc data analysis.” As of today, the list of supported regions includes Brazil South, Southeast Asia, North Europe, West Europe, West US, South Central US, North Central US, East US 2 and West Central US.
