Noted by TechRadar, Newegg is currently offering a very interesting sale on the original Surface Book. Indeed, you can now get the first generation Surface Book for 50% off and with free shipping, but only if you act by the end of today.

The full deal can be seen here, kicking a total of $999.01 off the original price. This specific model is now going for $999.99, coming with the Intel Core i7 processor, 258GB SSD, 8GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce Graphics.

This is definitely a great deal, especially because this unit is brand new and is not refurbished. It is also a great way to pick up a nicely specced device and join the Surface family without breaking the bank. There have been similar offers at other retailers before, so if you missed those chances, now is the perfect time to save. Let us know in the comments below if you’ve picked up this Surface Book thanks to the sale.
