Dual-SIM phone Nokia 220 launches in India for just Rs. 2,749

The pocket friendly Nokia 220 handset has officially launched in India. Last month at the Mobile World Congress event, Nokia announced several new handsets. While Nokia X stole the show, there were a few more handsets that the Finnish giant had unveiled that day. One such handset was its low-priced Nokia 220. The phone is now available in India at a price of Rs 2,749 ($45).

For a refresher, Nokia 220 sports a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display with a screen resolution of 320×240 pixels. It comes with a 2MP rear camera, FM radio and a flashlight. There’s a microSD slot which can handle up to 32 gigs of memory, and the handset also packs a 970 mAh battery. Nokia also boasts about the handset’s dust-proof keypad.

On the connectivity front, you have support for 2G and Bluetooth 3.0. Popular apps like Facebook, Twitter, and several homegrown apps like Bing and Xpress browser come pre-installed on the device. The dual-SIM capable phone comes in black, red, white and yellow colors. You can click on the Via link to get to the store.
