Microsoft has finally updated Project Spartan in Windows 10 build 10147 to showcase the Microsoft Edge branding. In this particular build, which has not been released officially, the new browser now features the new Edge icon, as well as dark mode. We first caught a glimpse of dark mode about a week ago when a Microsoft employee tweeted a screenshot of the browser.
As you can see in the image above (and images below), Edge can now be used in dark or light modes. Dark mode looks really neat, except for the blue border that appears around the window, which will likely be refined by the time Windows 10 is released on July 29th.
Edge now allows you to manage your passwords directly from the browser. Under Advanced Settings, you can select Manage my saved passwords and enter a URL, username, and password for the browser to remember.
