If you haven’t heard of Insignia, it is an unofficial, community-created replacement for Xbox Live 1.0. This was the original incarnation of Microsoft’s online gaming service for the original Xbox.

Insignia launched back in November last year, with support for 25 games, on the 20th anniversary of the launch of Xbox Live 1.0. New titles have been added to the service since then, and 11 more are soon to be added to the list. Some have already been added, and more will launch next week bringing the number of supported games to well over 60. Below is the list of newly added and coming soon.

  • Call of Duty 2: Big Red One (February 3rd, 2023)
  • Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO (February 3rd, 2023)
  • Dancing Stage Unleashed (February 3rd, 2023)
  • Trivial Pursuit: Unhinged (February 3rd, 2023)
  • Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland (February 3rd, 2023)
  • Rainbow Six 3 (March 3rd, 2023)
  • Room Zoom: Race For Impact (March 3rd, 2023)
  • Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow (March 3rd, 2023)
  • Marvel Ultimate Alliance (March 3rd, 2023)
  • Thousand Land (March 3rd, 2023)
  • Prince of Persia Warrior Within (March 3rd, 2023)

Insignia is a free service. It is invite-only however, not to mention it is still in beta form at present. Its feature list includes online multiplayer with matchmaking functionality and online leaderboards. At the time of this writing just over 4,600 people have signed up for Insignia so far.
