Windows Azure comes to Bangladesh, free trial in tow

Regardless of where you live, the cloud is likely becoming a bigger deal for you, as file storage and other applications all make their way to it. Microsoft’s Azure, a rival to Amazon’s solution, is competing for some of that business, and now its found another new market.

The company announces that the service is launching in Bangladesh, a small nation located in southern Asia. To coincide with the launch, Microsoft is offering customers a a deal to get started. This entitles them to a 30 day trial and $200 credit, but there are some stipulations involved with this.

“You can either try for free trial for one month entitling to $200 Azure credit, but you’d require an international credit/debit card OR dollar endorsed to your local credit card for foreign travel to activate that although you will not be charged until the period is expired or you’ve overspent that $200. However, if credit card is a hassle for you, you have a great option of MSDN Subscription”, says Microsoft’s Tanzim Saqib.

Microsoft goes on to give detailed information on users can get started, but it’s a process that isn’t especially difficult. You can get all of those from the link provided below.
